This is a place for some vendor suggestions. here's a couple of mine:

RallyGraphix.com (could potentially make vinyl stickers for people on the spot for people.)

Kales Custom (could possibly bring a tube frame chassis, and possibly fabricate stuff for people)... I already talked to him about bringing the tubeframe and he loved the idea... he loves the idea of showing off his work.

Tint My Ride (Phil was interested in coming last year but he told me no one got ahold of him to give him details)... he could potentially tint peoples cars at the show

Vermont Powdercoating (not sure if they could do stuff on site, but they might be interested in showing their stuff)

It also might be a good idea to get the national guard guys involved... maybe they could fly in a helicopter from the airport... or some hummers or something.

I'll add more when I think of them.

I remember someone saying Ben&Jerry's and I was thinking the maple kettle cooked pop corn that you see at fairs.... not sure who does it.

I'm trying to think of performance parts vendors in Vermont... can't think of any. :shakeno:

ditto. I'd pull out an old Performance VW magazine and look at all the ad's... bet there's a bunch of vendors in the New England area that would love to come up for this show.

I just thought of a good one. http://www.smartglass.com/default.asp
It's awesome!... would be amazing to have them come. I emailed asking if they'd be willing to come and/or sponsor the event... I bet they'd be willing to try and get their windows into the automotive world... possibly? I dunno. they do a moon-roof for Mercedes... pretty neat

Now that is cool... would love to have that at home and on the car. Park your car and turn all the windows black to keep prying eyes out along with the hot sun. Good for the drive-in also.

I like the idea but I doubt that would work because the fairgrounds won't allow it... However maybe they could sponsor the "after party" over at the shop?

Mmmmm, Switchback tour. :coolbeer:

The same vendors as last year.... all were good, IMO.

  • VEMS
  • FastAddiction
  • Washburns (for Revo?)
  • Bag Riders (sponsor)
  • Metal fabricator... forget his name. Like the idea of having VW orient parts/fabrication to tie products to the show
  • etc.

Other good options....
  • RallyGrafix (someone mentioned that perhaps Bret could print stuff onsite... how about Wolfsgart stickers?)

Right.... :bam!:

So, I guess my contribution is that we can have Wolfsgart stickers.

Right. If he is making them as he goes along, there is only the unit cost, therefore, they can be unique each year.

The marketing director at this place is inquiring about the show... I need an estimated amount of people coming to the event... say 1000 people over the course of 2 days?? trying to make it sound big.

Edit: I told him 1800+ over the course of the event... that's a lot of people talking about the show and the technology. I really hope they want to come to the show.
