Little to no progress lately - playing around with a Kinect scanner for generating 3D mesh. Also picked up a 931 bell housing that will supposedly bolt it all together if I run out of resources for the bell housing project. 8)

what file type does that scanner produce? Wonder if it can be loaded into solidworks or whatever and cleaned up, of course would be tons of work

You can transfer to solidworks but have to use meshlab to limit the number of faces first. I may try a different capture software system but too much higher priority on the life plate right now.
