Seems there is a shortage of these, if there is enough volume, we may get Pilkington to do a run. They were able to do this some years back.

Andy.

Get with Dave on the NEHA forums or SCCV forums. He races Sciroccos and lives in CT. If he has one, Sherman might be able to bring it up for Philo.

Dave = "sciroccohp"

That is why I thought you would have windshields to get rid of.

Coming back racing anytime soon?

Get the car fixed?

Ever post the video?

Did you get my NEHA message about the airdam?

What is the square root of 64?

Steve

Nope, when I dug into it the floorpan behind the doors/seat was bent up, it was a total loss, I bought another shell and working on it.

Ever post the video? BOTH CAMERAS IN THE CAR SHUT OFF SECONDS BEFORE I HIT. how does that happen

Did you get my NEHA message about the airdam?

Were there differences between the glue in vs. rubber gasket version of the windshields for the Rabbit?

Were there the same options, and therefore potential differences, with the Scirocco.

I would take one depending on the price.

Are you sure we can't order a new one? What if I had the Scirocco insured and had to replace the windshield? What would the insurance company do?

I went thru Safelite's website and they didn't state the the glass was out of stock (stated it was checking inventory)

Checked for a 1980 Scirocco.

Pilkington has 10 in stock $345 plus tax, $125 shipping. Price break at qty. 5 is $305, shipping still $125 to ship all to VT from Columbus OH.

Is that $125 to ship ALL windshields or each?

Hmmm I sold that parts car. The windshield was usable but was turning white around the edges. It would be good to know if I can still get new. All Rocco's were gaskets in. Glue with fake gasket is the cheap aftermarket fix.
